Google Play Store finds 100's of apps infected with malware

Google Play Store has been found to have hundreds of apps that are infected with malware.

Dubbed Android.Spy.277 and installed over 3.2 million times there is another incedent with the Google Play store. This time cloneed apps containing malware are in the Play Store found by antivirus maker Dr.Web and reported to Google for investigation. They started removing the malware apps but this seems to happen way to often. The funny thing is when you allow your device to install apps from third party vendors it warns you that it may be unsafe if the app is not from the official Play Store but I have seen more problems come from the Play Store itself.

I for one wish there was more choices for software sources and also that when installing they were not so obscure about the permissions of apps. The permissions are kind of generic and don't tell you what the app is actually able to do and not do.
